Manufacturing Manager.

| Overview: |
This person is responsible for all day to day manufacturing operations at the company and is required to exceed the schedule and quality requirements of our customers.
|
| Responsibilities: |
- Assembly and testing of all Vanguard Rugged products.
- Transition of new products into manufacturing.
- Materials Management, Inventory Levels.
- Cost of Goods Sold (CGS).
- Purchasing.

| Supervises: |
- Manufacturing Engineers.
- Manufacturing Technicians.
- Purchasing Personnel.
|
| Education, required1: |
BSEE. |
| Education, preferred: |
MBA or similar education in the field of business management practices. |
| Experience, Skills: |
- 3 to 5 years experience in the manufacture and test of mass storage devices.
- Proficient with the SATA, SCSI, and UATA mass storage interfaces.
|
| The Ideal Candidate: |
Will be a BSEE with hands on experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the mass storage industry and at least two years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing Management capacity.
The Manufacturing Manager must be able to instantly take charge of our manufacturing operation in all of its dimensions without day to day supervision by the CEO / CTO.
